Florida Engineering Leadership Institute Class of 2022 To Help Ensure “No Kid Sleeps on the Floor”
Professional engineers from across Florida will converge on West Palm Beach on Saturday, June 25th to build bunk-beds for Miami/West Palm Beach-area underprivileged children.
These professionals are members of the Florida Engineering Leadership Institute (FELI) Class of 2022, and as part of their 10-month program to transform from professional engineers into community leaders, they’re giving back to help local communities.
The FELI Class of 2022 is teaming up with Sleep in Heavenly Peace (SHP) chapters around the state to build bunk-beds to help ensure “no kid sleeps on the floor”. The West Palm Beach bunk-bed build will be their fourth bed build day, and their efforts are making a difference for children throughout Florida.
Thanks to charitable contributions, the FELI Class of 2022 anticipates building 20 beds this Saturday. Anyone wishing to support the effort is encouraged to click here.
