All requests for FES Student Chapter funding must be submitted through the designated online application detailing the project purpose, the amount of funding needed with a budget breakdown, and the date the funds are needed. Funding decisions will be based on the available budget, project merit, and alignment with organizational goals.
Eligibility
The applicant must be an active FES Student Chapter to be eligible for funding. The application must be submitted by either an officer on the student chapter’s board or the Faculty Advisor. The purpose of the funding request must align with the FES organizational goals.
Submission Process
FES Student Chapters must use the online FES Student Chapter Funding Request Application to request funds. Documentation must accompany the request.
Review Process
The Student Professional Development Subcommittee will review all applications. Notification
will be provided within 30 business days of the application submission date. Funds will be
distributed based on availability.
Funding Categories
Funds can be used for student chapter meetings, competitions, travel expenses to FES events, or to purchase items such as FES shirts, tablecloths, nametags, or other printed materials.
Application Requirements:
- Completed application submitted using the designated online submission portal.
- Supporting documentation to include the application such as event budget, invoices,
flyers, shirt or table designs, etc.
