Charles W. Davis, Jr, PhD, CSSGB
President, Florida Engineering Society

With over 25 years of experience in both public and private sector consisting of Project Management, Leadership and Quality Assurance, Dr. Charles Davis is currently an Associate Professor of Engineering at Embry Riddle Aeronautical University. Prior to that, Dr. Davis taught at Valencia College since 2003, teaching various courses in Pre-Engineering, Mathematics, and Quality Assurance and Test Methods, Engineering Management, Communications, and Ethics and Probability and Statistics for Engineering Technology. He is an advisor for the Florida Engineering Society Club at Embry Riddle Aeronautical University, co-advisor for the National Society of Black Engineers, and co-advisor for Tau Beta Pi Engineering Honor Society.

Dr. Davis earned a bachelor’s degree in design engineering, a master’s degree in industrial engineering with a concentration in Engineering Management and a Ph.D. in Industrial Engineering from the University of Central Florida.
