The Florida Engineering Society (FES), in partnership with the American Council of Engineering Companies of Florida (ACEC Florida) and the Florida Engineering Foundation (FEF), is proud to announce The Don Ditzenberger Florida Engineering Society Historical Museum. This museum is dedicated to the past, present, and future Professional Engineers whose skills and knowledge perpetuate and sustain the health, safety, and welfare of all Floridians.

The Don Ditzenberger Florida Engineering Society Historical Museum will play a crucial role in teaching visitors about the history and importance of FES. Exhibits will offer interactive experiences for visitors to gain information and ideas that inspire and foster an appreciation for the history of FES and ACEC Florida.

After exploring the exhibits, visitors will:

  • Understand what FES, ACEC Florida, and FEF are, as well as the relationships they share; such as the Florida Engineering Leadership Institute (FELI).
  • Recognize important FES, ACEC Florida, and FEF historical events.
  • Realize the critical role FES and ACEC Florida have for the well-being of engineers and the Florida public.
  • Understand that FES is not only about engineering, but people. Have additional knowledge about the support FES offers.
